Home Depot - Kids Workshops - Free Birthday Party

As you may know, Home Depot offers free kid's workshops on Saturdays.  They provide an activity for the kids to build which usually involves a hammer, nails, stickers and/or paint.  You can register for the workshops online, and they are typically offered on the first Saturday of each month.  The website suggests that the kids are ages five and older.  The location near our home has allowed my son to participate, and we started to attend the classes when he was two years old. During each workshop, the kids receive a free apron, a certificate, and a pin. The Home Depot near my home offers free birthday parties and events.  There are Home Depots that do not offer birthday parties and events as an option so please don't be disappointed if you find that to be the case at the location near you.  I have not held a birthday party at Home Depot, but I have had several Kid Fun events at the one near me.  Even though the event is free, I give the instructor a tip for her time and hard work. Whether you book an event or attend one of their Saturday workshops, your kids are sure to have a blast.  If you child is younger, he/she will need help assembling his/her project.
