Colored Glue

Art projects are a great way to help your child develop their fine motor skills, and one of our favorites is using colored glue. You can find glue bottles on sale during the back-to-school season – I got mine for only thirteen cents each at Target. To elaborate the bond, add food coloring and shake the bottle. It’s a quick, easy, cheap project that your kids will love!

This activity is simple to turn into a learning experience by having your youngster create words, practice coloring in the lines, or combine colors.

And, when they are all done with their project, they can show off their work by hanging it up on the fridge or giving it to grandparents.

What you need:
-Glue
-Food coloring
-Paper
-Scissors

Directions:
1. Pour glue into a bowl.
2. Add food coloring and mix.
3. Have your child write their name or a word with glue on a piece of paper.
4. Let the glue dry, and then hang up their artwork!

This project is perfect for a rainy day or when you need a quiet activity for your kids. And, it’s a great way to sneak in some learning while they’re having fun!
