The summer camps at Barons Gymnastics involve non-stop fun and challenging activities with exciting sports and educational programs. They offer gymnastics, various sports, arts and crafts, surprise visitors, construction and fort building, and more. The most exciting part of their summer camps is the FIELD TRIPS. Each week has a theme, and an exciting field trip correlates with the theme of the week. Field trips include the Downtown Aquarium, the Zoo, Typhoon Texas, Ice Skating, County Fair, Splashtown, Magic Show, NASA, Monkey Joe’s, the Children’s Museum, etc.

The Hunter Dance Center offers minicamps and a three-week-long camp. They teach ballet, modern, aerial, hip hop, and theater. The minicamps are themed each week. During the minicamp, the students will learn using dance, music, creative drama, circus arts, and crafts. The Dance Theater Camp is a three-week-long camp. The camp presents Peter Pan, and the students will create original dance-theater work. They will work on morning technique classes in ballet, modern, aerial and hip hop. The afternoon classes will focus on theater games, choreography, and rehearsal. All camps are supervised and taught by creative, professional instructors.

The Idea Lab is a place where children learn while having a blast. They focus on teaching children through hands-on, engaging lessons. Their interactive activities have kids smiling, and they don’t even realize they’re learning. Their summer camp list is full of exciting camps that cover different themes. The centers are great for younger kids as well as older kids. Older children apply their knowledge to building a drone or their own computer. The STEM-based lessons are designed to meet your child’s academic needs while offering the classes in an exciting atmosphere.

They offer Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, English, Standard Arabic, Italian, Portuguese, Standard Hindi, German, Russian, Japanese, and less commonly taught languages. During summer camps, they promote the development and retention of new vocabulary and sentence structures while learning cultural aspects of the language.

Summer Play Camp is a fun experience for kids who could use some summer practice with social skills. At Play Camp, children will learn how to make friends and be a friend. Children will practice essential skills that will benefit them in school and life for years to come. Skills such as how to solve problems, talk things over, and work out differences. Play Camp features daily themes like Art Extravaganze, Wet’ n’ Wild Water Play, Music & Movement, Obstacle Courses, and a Talent Show to help children practice sustaining attention, following directions, and delaying gratification. They offer a wide range of programs, including Fashion Around the World, Languages Around the World, Celebrations Around the World, Games Around the World, Architecture Around the World, Foods Around the World, Music & Dance Around the World, and Art Around the World. For PreK and K students, there are also People Around the World. For 1st through 8th graders, there is Go Down in Australia, Slow Down in the Dominican Republic, Bow Down in India, Flying Carpet to Syria, and Mixed Flavors in Brazil.
